To get a legit STL file directly out of Sketchup means you have to purchase the Pro version, which is a good way to go if you have the money, but what if this is a one-off? It can be done, but it’s tricky to find out how to do it so it works. But what if you are not using Shapeways or use a service (or have a printer yourself) that only uses STL files?
